The Super Sonicwake 48” has a factory-installed Spektrum 8S brushless power system capable of producing 50+ mph speeds. Independent water-cooling systems for the motor and ESC keep your hard-working electronics at safe operating temperatures. Depending on which recommended LiPo battery option you use, you can maximize speed or extend run time. The innovative Pro Boat SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system lets you exchange packs in just a matter of seconds.
Despite its impressive size, those and other features make the Super Sonicwake 48” convenient to operate and easy to maintain. The thick ABS hull hangs tough through big jumps and rough waters. If the breakaway rudder strikes a rock or other hard object, it rotates up to minimize any hull or hardware damage. The canopy attaches with quick 1/4 turn latches, making it fast and easy to remove with no risk of stripping screws.
The Super Sonicwake 48” adds fresh graphics to the popular styling of the smaller Sonicwake. As it cuts through the water, underwater LEDs at the transom illuminate its wake with splashes of light. Day or night, this is the ultimate RC boating experience!
Because of its speed and size, the Super Sonicwake 48” is best suited for very large ponds and lakes. Still, driving safely and comfortably from the water's edge is worry-free. If the boat flips, it will self-right. A battery power level indicator on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter lets you know when you should return to shore.

Its high-powered Spektrum brushless system includes a Firma 160A Smart Brushless ESC and 4685 950Kv 4-Pole Brushless Marine Motor. Just add your choice of the recommended LiPo batteries to maximize speed or run time.

SSL BATTERY INSTALLATION
The easy-to-use SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system lets you mount your batteries in a tray outside of the boat, instead of working in a confined space. Then just slide the tray into the hull, where it locks into place. Battery installation takes only seconds! Pro Boat includes an additional set of large trays to fit up to 10,000+ mAh battery packs.

BREAKAWAY RUDDER PROTECTION

QUICK 1/4 TURN CANOPY LATCHES

Seals on both the inside and outside surfaces minimize the chance for water to leak into the boat.

STUFFING TUBE GREASE CATCH
Nothing is worse than having too little grease on the flexshaft — but too often, any excess grease winds up making a mess inside of your boat's hull. The Super Sonicwake 48” has a grease catch that confines the excess within a small area for removal. You can easily keep the inside of your boat looking clean and fresh.

FREE-FLOATING PROP STRUT BUSHING
This completely free-floating bushing lets you grease just the prop strut with a quick and easy port. Simply remove the screw. Grease flows through the prop strut and stuffing tube, while holes in the bushing keep the grease right where it needs to be.
