Front Skid Plate for the Associated MT8
Overview
RPM designed this version of the skid plate by extending it rearward. That extra section covers more of the chassis, protecting it from harmful rocks and debris. The rear gearbox screws now support the lengthened skid plate as well. RPM also eliminated the front M3 x 14mm button-head screw as integral to the skid plate design. Eliminating that screw allowed them to change the shape of the skid plate for additional durability.
As an added bonus, RPM incorporated three low-friction skid rails. These rails make transitions over tall obstacles easier and less likely to stop you in your tracks. They also help increase the strength and wear resistance of the skid plate.
Each RPM Front Skid Plate for the Associated Rival MT8 is molded in black from the exclusive blend of engineering grade nylons for unmatched strength and durability. All RPM molded products are made in the USA and backed by the limited lifetime warranty against breakage.
Tech Notes: The RPM Front Skid Plate is designed specifically for the Associated Rival MT8 and replaces the stock front skid plate from Associated RPM25903.
